Soft Bread Machine Hawaiian Bread Recipe…

The original recipe for this bread took olive oil. Though this is heart-heathy, it wasn’t the flavor or texture I wanted in my finished loaf. Butter is a saturated fat, adding tenderness and nice flavor to this loaf.

This recipe couldn’t be easier for the busy parent! Literally, all the ingredients are added to the bread machine pan, placed in the machine, a couple buttons pushed, and a fresh loaf is done in around 3 1/2 hours.

I like to take the loaf out of the machine as soon as it’s done to cool, but I did forget about it one day and it was in the machine for an extra four hours! And you know what?! It was just as amazing as usual! 🙂

This is the perfect loaf of bread to make to take to a sick friend, new mom, or just to gift to anyone! They’ll feel your love and you’ll have a wonderful gift with minimal effort. I LOVE easy, tasty, homemade presents!

Just a fun-fact about yeast. Yes, I do purchase it in HUGE amounts. However, you can place it in tightly sealed containers and freeze it for a very, very long time. And if you find yourself using your bread machine as much as I do, that extra yeast comes in very handy!
